Got out to McCartney field this AM at about 5:25, took to the sky at exactly 6:00. It was fantistic! Real smooth air. So much so that I did my first mini-x-country to my house ( a mere 7 or 8 miles away, but hey, that's a long way for a guy who hasn't left the local field area yet). It was cool seeing my place from the air, wish I had remembered my camera! Figures. Anyway, got to meet Mo's better half (she is Much better looking than Mo!), their son and Mo's folks. It was a nice time. I landed and chatted for a while and Mo did some fly-by work for the cameras. A good time for all.
Let's do it again soon.

My family had a great time seeing Bill and I fly. I mostly stayed around the field and showed off for the cameras. I did a touch and go, some low and over flyby's, a powered and two unpowered landings. My wife hadn't seen me fly in some time and she said she was impressed by how much improved my take-off's, flying, and landings had gotten. She also commented on Bill's great landing.
When we left, my parents couldn't stop talking about PPG for the rest of their stay. Later that day I caught my dad reading some of my PPG books. They took a lot of pictures.
