"Even though it was raining, I went to the Queen Creek site on Saturday morning to check it out. I didn't fly due the weather and winds, but the site looks ideal. It appears to be an abandoned airport, with several paved, delapitated runways that must go on for a mile in each drection. Also, there are some dirt runways that appear to be minimally maintained and would also make great launching and landing areas. I hope to fly this site soon and let you know how it compares."

The main gain.

Notice the welcoming Welcome sign on the unlocked gate.
Apparently the locals put this there to scare away them fureners.

One of the mile long, delapitaed paved runways.

Some of the dirt runways.

Notice the existing windsock.
