"The four of us met (Bill Wright, Susan, David Cook, Maurice Sheldon) at the flying field in Casa Grande on Saturday morning. Bill was the only one to get airborne -- Maurice's prop is in the shop and I developed a new hardware problem that kept me grounded."
David Cook... well... not launching. Exhaust prop broke right before takeoff.
Bill's Velcro Footbar attachments.
Basically, it involves adding/sewing velcro to the footbar and the bottom of the seat rest. This makes it easy to quickly retract and stow the footbar both on the ground or in the air.
